Buhari, Osinbajo meet as president arrives Nigeria
Buhari arrived Nigeria after over 50 days
in London where he was on medical vacation. He extended his stay there
allegedly on the advice of his doctors.
Buhari
was driven with the officials to the First Lady Conference where the
meeting is holding. They went to the venue from the helipad where the
president landed.
Security operatives locked out many journalists and some top government officials from the venue.
The meeting is still ongoing as of the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari
has said he is a little bit tired even as he gave Vice President Yemi
Osinbajo the go ahead to continue as acting president, The Sun reports.
According
to the report, Buhari made the remark while addressing members of the
Federal Executive Council (FEC), all heads of security agencies and the
governors Kogi, Yahaya Bello and Zamfara, Abdulaziz Yari, in a closed
door meeting shortly after his arrival to the country.
