The Real Reason Your Partner Loves You, Based On The Length You’ve Been Dating Days Not to burst your bubble, but your partner is only crazy about you, because you’re attractive. They might fall head over heels in love with your personality in the future, but for now, they’re obsessed with how hot you look. And that’s not their fault. They haven’t had a chance to get to know you yet. They might be able to name your favorite books and cook your favorite meal, but they won’t really know you until they spend a larger chunk of time with you. Weeks Your partner likes you, because you’re fun. You’re fun to flirt with, to go out on dates with, and to sleep with. They don’t know if they’re going to be with you for only a few more weeks or for the long haul, but they don’t really care. They’re just enjoying the moment. You make them smile, and for now, that’s more than enough. They don’t want to be weighed down with the stress of thinking about the future, because that would take the

He’s Like My Brother, But I Fell In Love With Him

He’s Like My Brother, But I Fell In Love With Him Last night I had one of those life changing painful realizations. My life is not going to be the same ever again. I’m in love with my best friend. It sounds simple and I know it happens to a lot of people, I even know it sometimes turns out alright, they like them back and a lovely romance evolves. This will never be my case. We met over 6 years ago, when we were 14 years old and we thought we knew everything about life and being cool. We had just started high school and he had a lot of friends, I barely knew anyone. So we stuck together. We love the same music and he even dated a model, years older than him, because I helped him (a life time high for him). The relationship we had was fun, brother sisterly, and built on trust. It stayed the same throughout the years. I had a crush on one of his best friends, confessed, got rejected and he chased the same girl for over 3 years just to have a shitty relationship when she finall

Love Prob The torture boys go through during initiation Last week’s death of a 15-year-old boy at Gatitu village in Murang’a County at an initiation ceremony has become the talk of town. Juliano Kanyonyos death, a result of torture and beatings meant to harden him up after a circumcision, led to a myriad of debates online. Despite the oath of secrecy that most young men take before undergoing traditional circumcision, many have come out to expose the painful experiences they were subjected to in the name of ‘hardening them up into manhood’. Even as his family seeks justice, a post-mortem report reveals that the late Kanyonyo died of beatings. It is strongly believed he died after he was beaten by those under whose custody he was. Across the county, most young men undergo traditional circumcision where they take oath not to reveal whatever happens there. According to Crazy Monday investigations, Kanyonyo’s case is just one of the many deaths that happen in such circumstan

More oil companies are dumping Nigeria’s crude

The advent of electric cars, quest for renewable and cleaner energy sources are some factors affecting the sale of Nigeria's crude in the international oil market, says the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR). Director of the DPR, Mordecai Ladan , says Nigeria has lost its most valued crude oil buyers due to the “renewed dislike and global war” against fossil fuels. Speaking at the 18th edition of the International HSE Biennial Conference on the Oil and Gas Industry in Nigeria , Ladan noted that the oil and gas industry was under threat with erstwhile gas customers are now competing with it. “Over the years, the threat against fossil fuels had always been on paper, but today, it is more real than ever, based on some clear evidence I like to draw our attention to,” he said. The director said three among the biggest technology companies, including Google and Apple , had made attempts at electric cars to replace petrol and diesel engines, with that of Tesla tak

Ibrahim Sakaba Ibrahim Sakaba, a lieutenant-colonel, died alongside at least 117 of his fellow soldiers following a catastrophic invasion of their base in northern Borno State on November 18. Colleagues have hailed the bravery of all the soldiers who lost their lives in the attack. But they hailed Mr Sakaba in particular for his leadership at the Nigerian Army 157 Task Force Battalion in Metele, where Boko Haram terrorsits launched a surprise attack against them at about 6:00 p.m. that Sunday. In the hope that the Nigerian Army would formally announce the passing of Mr Sakaba and other slain soldiers in the Metele attack, PREMIUM TIMES held back his identity while   breaking the news on Tuesday morning . But a week after the incident, no formal announcement has been made by the military, and no clear indication his families or those of other departed soldiers have been notified. A senior military colleague who knew Mr Sakaba described him as a selfless commander.
