The Crocodile

One day a man and his wife were working on their farm when they saw an egg. They examined the egg and discovered that the egg belong to a crocodile so they decided to keep it. One month later, the egg hatched and a crocodile emerged from it and they named it croco. And they kept it because they have no child. They made a pond and put croco in it. Croco was growing very fast and the couple took care of it. Other animals’ jealous croco because of the kind of food he is eating and how the couple took care of him. One day the couple found out that croco is too big to stay in the small pond and they decided to make a stream flowing pond to put him there. Croco started growing very big and started troubling everyone including the fishes in the stream . He also became too proud of himself that he ignored even his human parents. One day croco   looked at himself and said “I am the biggest and strongest, no one not even the couple can kill me.” So one week later the couple came to

JESUS AND SERVING OTHERS (MARK 10:35-45)

A REFLECTION Mark records that john and James went to Jesus with their mother request; in Matthew, their mother also made the request; there is no contradiction in the accounts-mother and sons were in agreement in requesting honored places in Christ kingdom. The disciples like most jews of that day, had the wrong idea of the Messiah's kingdom as predicted by the Old Testament Prophets. They thought that Jesus would establish an earthly kingdom that will free Israel from Rome's oppression, and James and John wanted honored places in it. But Jesus' kingdom is not of this world. It is not centered  in palaces and Thrones but in hearts lives of His followers. The disciples did not understand this until after resurrection. James and John said the were willing to face any trial for Christ. Both did suffer, James died as a martyr (Act 12:2), John was forced to live in exile (Rev. 1:9). It is easy to say we will endure anything for Christ, and yet most of us complain over the
