Daura Emirate Council recites Qu'ran 11 times over Buhari's health
A prayer session has been conducted by the Daura Emirate Council for President Muhammadu Buhari

- Activities for the prayer session included the recitation of the complete Qur’an eleven times
The residents of Daura on Friday, February 17, conducted prayer sessions for President Muhamadu Buhari.
The prayer session was organized by the Daura Emirate Council in Kastina state.
The nation reports that the
council led by the Emir of Daura Alhaji Umar Farouk had a marathon
prayer session, invoking Allah's protection and good health for
President Buhari.
The prayer was said to be attended by thousands of Daura residents.
Buhari, a native of Daura is currently on a medical vacation in the United Kingdom.
However,
leading the prayer, Farouk said the president need prayers not only for
his health but for divine guidance in steering the affairs of the
nation.
“Mr. President is our son and he deserves much more than this,” Farouk said.
He also assured Daura residents that there was no cause for alarm regarding President Buhari's health.
He said: "Going by available contacts we have on daily basis, the President is in high spirit.”
The emir said it is important to note that leaders need constant prayers from their subjects.
He said this awareness prompted the call for prayers on behalf of the president.
"He needs our encouragement, support and prayers for him to succeed and build a better Nigeria," he said.
Also,
chief Imams of major Juma’at mosques in Daura, Mai’adua, Zango, Sandamu
and Baure Local government areas under the emirate conducted the
prayers.
The prayer session included recitation of the complete Qur’an eleven times.
