Actor finally unveils governorship posters
Kenneth Okonkwo has kicked the political ball rolling in Enugu state in a bid to become its next governor.
Kenneth Okonkwo is making good his plans of becoming the next governor of Enugu start by officially unveiling his governorship posters.
The veteran actor took to his Instagram page on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, where he shared photos of the posters. He went on to caption one of the posters with a quote which dwelled on how he won't be able to run for the highest position in the state without God.
"Without God, I can do nothing but with Him, I can do all things because He strengthens me. Join the winning team. By the grace of God, I am the next Governor of Enugu State," he wrote.
This is coming a few months after the popular actor revealed to everyone that he would be running for the seat of the governor of Enugu state.

A few months ago, precisely March 2018, Kenneth Okonkwo announced to fans and followers on social media that he wants to be the next governor of Enugu state. The veteran actor who is known for his spontaneous acting prowess revealed his new intention via his Instagram page on Sunday, March 4, 2018, where he posted a couple of photos from his declaration event.
According to the actor who is also a lawyer, in one of the posted photos, talked about how he had received blessings from the immediate past governor of the state, Sullivan Chime.
"Just declared my intention to contest for the Governorship candidate of APC in Enugu State. It was heartwarming to receive the blessings of the immediate past Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Gov Sullivan Chime. To God be the glory," he captioned the photo.
Kenneth Okonkwo is one of Nigeria's foremost actors who came into the limelight in the early 90s with his unforgettable role in the movie 'Living in Bondage.'
