Tortoise And Squirrel

Once in the animals den, there lived tortoises and squirrels. Tortoise lived with his parents and relations but he was the only son and also very greedy while squirrel was good.

A certain year came, and there was a famine in the land of the animals. The animals started killing each other, for survival. Some went deep into the forest in search of food, while some kill their parents. This continued for a very long time. That the animals nearly finished in the animal den.

One day squirrel went far in the forest to get food for himself and his parents. When he came back, he took his share of food and went out to eat it, on his way he met his friend tortoise crawling hungrily, squirrel wanted to hide his food but it was too late because the tortoise have seen it, so he asked squirrel what he was eating and drinking and where he got it from. But he lied and told his friend tortoise that he got what he was eating in their house. The tortoise asked him what the thing was, he told the tortoise that, it was his mother's eyes. The tortoise could not believe his ears and he asked the squirrel if he killed his mother, the squirrel said yes. This made tortoise to go and kill his own mother too and took her eyes to squirrel's house to show him. But met squirrel's mother when he got there. So he fainted because his friend made him to kill his mother.
